Patients’ rights
To receive dignified and respectful treatment without any discrimination.
To receive quality health care from qualified personnel using the appropriate technology.
To be informed about the procedures and costs of their treatment, procedures and health care.
To receive clear information about their health status, the treatment and the procedures that will be performed, as well as the associated risks.
To receive health services in conditions of hygiene, safety and respect for privacy.
To have their clinical information treated confidentially.
To receive continuous health services without any interruption.
To accept or reject any treatment and their opinion to be taken into account and respected.
To receive an explanation of the reasons why the service is denied.
To submit complaints, claims or suggestions about the health care provided and receive a clear and timely response.
In case of an Emergency, to be treated immediately without documents or payments required.
Patients’ responsibilities
To submit a real identification
document.
To respect the administrative and health care staff and take care of the facilities where health care services are provided.
To do not hide important information about their health condition.
To be in the place, day and time of the appointment, or to cancel it in a timely manner if they cannot attend.
To sign the informed consent form of the procedures, when required.
To take care of their health and follow the treatment and recommendations of the professionals who treat them.
To pay for the services that have been rendered to them, according to the health care provider’s rates (full rate or copayment).
To comply with the biosafety protocols at all times.
